Create CatchAll for a mail account
A catch-all is an account that receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses
at your domain name. For example, if someone sends a mail to notpresent@yourdomainname.com
and the account didn't actually exist, your catch-all would receive this message.
A catch-all email address can ensure that genuine and possibly important communication
intended for you is NEVER missed. There can only be one catchall account per domain name.
You can also configure only particular email accounts to be forwarded to a different e-mail addresses. To do so, please check the section on Add an email account.
You can create CatchAll for a mail account by the following steps:
Step 1: In the "Email Management" section click the link "Create Catchall". Following screen will be displayed:
Step 2: Click the "Set Catchall" link for a domain you want to create Catchall for. Following screen will be displayed:
Step 3: Select the mail id you at which you want to receive all the mails for that domain.
Step 4: Click the "Make Catch All" button. Catchall will be successfully created for this domain now and all the mail for this domain for which the id does not exist will land up in this account. Following screen will be displayed:
