Locking/Unlocking a domain
Domain Name Locking is a crucial security feature as it ensures that the
details of the domain can not be modified and the domain name can not be
transferred away. Locking a domain prevents any modifications to the
domain until it is unlocked. The contact details and nameserver associations
of such a domain can not be modified in this state. Such a domain can not be
deleted or renewed until this lock is removed.
