• Message Filters

    You can filter out unwanted messages from your inbox by using this feature. When this feature is enabled, the incoming messages would be filtered out on the basis of the criteria that you havedefined.

    You can set message filters using following steps:

    Step 1: In the "Email Management" section click the link "Launch Web Mail". Following screen will be displayed:



    Step 2: Enter the provided username and password fields and hit "Login".The following screen would be displayed :-



    Step 3: Click on the " Options " tab given at the top of the page.The following page would be displayed :-



    Step 4: Select the " Message Filters " option and after that select " New " from the options displayed.Given page would be made visible :-



    Step 5: In the " Match " field you can fix the criteria that would need to be fulfilled for generation of the auto response.It contains a from , to , CC , subject and header option. After selecting the Match field you can enter the pattern in the " Contains " field that the match field should contain in order to filter out that message.One can even check the header for certain patterns in order to filter that particular mail.For checking the header one needs to select the header in the match field and then in the Contains filed one needs to enter the header flag followed by the pattern for which one needs to check.For eg: - If you need to check for Spam-Level then you need to write X-Spam-Level:***** (where number of stars refer to the spam level) in the contains field (without spaces).Like in the screenshot provided :-



    The " Move to " field contains the folder to which the message needs to be moved if it contains the required pattern as specified. .After filling all the fields click on " Submit "You will be taken to the following page :
